Les Miserables
GENTLE HANDS, TINY FANS
by, nicole_enjolras

Gentle hands
Make tiny fans
To make a little money
On streets he moves
In orphans shoes
Trying not to be hungry
On corners he stands
With his bright colored fans
But most people pass him blindly
"May I choose
The one with the blues"
A young woman's voice will say kindly
Sometimes a young man
Wants a rose covered fan
To give to his special girl
Or a father will see
His daughters eyes fill with glee
When he hands her one white as a pearl
But what's making that joy
For those girls and boys
Is something that no one is seeing
Gentle hands
Tiny hands
Of a boy, hoping, believing
